Job Title : Global Business Operations Senior Analyst

Department : Fisher College Office of Global Business

The Global Business Operations Senior Analyst for the Office of Global Business (OGB), within Fisher College of Business will provide a range of strategic and administrative processes to support the full implementation and management of the U.

S. Department of Education Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) grant awarded in alignment with Title VI grant funding requirements within federal and state regulations.

The CIBER grant contains 46 new and unique global initiatives that will focus on developing global business competencies and international business knowledge among students, faculty and business professionals, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the grant lifecycle, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and the effective achievement of project objectives.

These grant initiatives will include creating globally-themed webinars, seminars, conferences and other programs, both virtual and in-person.

Develops and leads strategic outreach and recruitment for relevant program initiatives. The Analyst coordinates CIBER budget requests, and processes funding disbursements for faculty and PhD research award competitions, CIBER Consortium commitments, and global travel awards.

Collects, tracks, analyzes, and reports CIBER initiatives data for strategic review, quarterly and annual assessment, and operational program review will be an important part of this role to confirm OSU meets requirements of the grant.

This role collaborates with a variety of stakeholders, including grantors, partner organizations, and university departments, to support the success of CIBER initiatives and ensure alignment with institutional goals.

Collaboration with faculty and staff to develop effective communication materials for faculty and student recruitment, alumni relations, and community outreach is also required.

This role develops, manages, and reports on marketing, communications, and outreach strategies for CIBER in collaboration with office, college, and university marketing and communication teams (i.

e. manages CIBER website, newsletter, social media, and other promotional endeavors). Provides fiscal support for grant budget and tracks expenditures within guidelines as outlined by the U.

S. Department of Education.

Additional Information :

This position will be a hybrid role, with two days remote and three days in the office each week. On-campus presence is required for in-person meetings, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Occasional travel is required to represent Ohio State CIBER at conferences or events, or to support global programs. The Global Business Operations Analyst will work closely with the Senior Director, Faculty Director, and other members of the Office of Global Business to ensure the successful implementation and management of the CIBER grant, contributing to the advancement of global business education and research at The Ohio State University and the region.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in Business Administration, International Business, Finance, or a related field.

4 years’ experience in grants management, financial management, or a related field, preferably within an academic or non-profit environment.

Ability to collaborate and work well in a diverse team-oriented environment. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and external organizations of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.

Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to grant funding and administration. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Desired Qualifications :

Master’s degree or equivalent education and experience in a related field. Experience with global business initiatives or international education programs.

Experience in program planning and administration within higher education. Experience participating and leading global travel programs.

Experience in financial management systems (e.g., Workday) and data analysis tools.

Additional Information :

The target hiring range for this job profile is $64,300 - $84,550. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
