Java Developer - Senior
Alpharetta, GA (hybrid - Minimum 3 days per week in the office)
12+ Month Contract
Client is seeking a candidate with strong experience in AWS and development roles, particularly in Java-based backend applications.
The role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Alpharetta, GA office.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver backend Java-based platform applications.
- Architect and design systems using Microservices architecture.
- Work with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Chef.
- Implement and maintain REST services.
- Utilize NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Integrate messaging systems like Kafka, MQ, or RabbitMQ.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, handling proof of concepts.
- Use tools like Splunk, Grafana / Kibana, Git, Jira, Jenkins.
Requirements :
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Development roles.
- 6+ years of experience in application delivery, with expertise in backend Java-based applications.
- 4+ years of experience in Microservices architecture.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with proof of concept development.
- Local candidates only, Alpharetta, GA.
- Minimum 3 days per week in the office.
- HackerRank testing is required.
