About the Department :
The Management Department prides itself on its commitment to research, teaching, and service excellence. We serve over 1,800 management majors and provide students with opportunities to work with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, entrepreneurial ventures, and nonprofit and public organizations.
Position :
The department of Management at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in Management at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The successful candidate will teach courses on innovation management, technology management, and digital transformation, as well as within their disciplinary area in management and have research interests in the management of innovation in a digital age.
In addition to teaching, the position requires weekly office hours, attending faculty meetings, participation in assessment of student learning, and service to the department, college, and university.
Required Qualifications :
- Ph.D. in Management, Innovation Management, Technology Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, or a closely related field.
- Excellence in university-level in-person teaching and in creating a student-centered learning environment.
- Evidence of conducting and publishing original research on the management of innovation and technology.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Evidence of effective engagement with a diverse student body.
- Experience using culturally responsive pedagogy.
- Research / Lab experience that includes working with students from diverse backgrounds.
