Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role;

the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$99,700.00 - $164,500.00

What Is the Opportunity?

As a Manager, Compliance you will be responsible for oversight and implementation of compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting in the development of programs and strategies to ensure compliance with Property and Casualty adjuster licensing and continuing education state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies.

In addition, you will be accountable for promoting awareness of adjuster licensing compliance matters. What Will You Do?

  • Address General Compliance Issues :
  • Advise and consult on matters related to compliance with laws, regulations, applicable company policies, ethical behavior, and compliance trends.
  • Advise and consult on compliance-related data and trends.
  • Regulatory Change Management (RCM) :
  • Oversee the review and communication of new or revised laws, regulations, bulletins, and regulatory publications applicable to Property and Casualty Claim adjuster licensing and continuing education.
  • Work with the applicable business partners on legal / regulatory change matters of varying complexity levels.
  • Interpret legal / regulatory change matters and / or administer new or modified business processes, systems, and / or workflows changes to ensure compliance and communicate same.
  • Manage escalated regulatory change matters to ensure appropriate communication and compliance.
  • Contact for Regulatory Bodies :
  • Develop and maintain productive / effective relationships with key regulators in assigned states to create positive outcomes for the enterprise.
  • Licensing :
  • Facilitate and oversee licensing of company entities, adjusters, attorneys, and / or producer / agencies to ensure compliance with applicable state rules and regulations in obtaining and maintaining licenses and work with business partners to identify and remedy any potential gaps in licensing that could impact business processes.
  • Participate in response to regulatory inquiries regarding licensing and provide subject matter expertise and guidance licensing matters to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Seven years prior experience with state jurisdictional guidelines, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to various audiences.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate within the Department or external contacts.
  • Analyze and interpret information in an objective, analytical way to make decisions and solve problems
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work with competing priorities and provide management with accurate and timely status information.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with ability to develop new methods, processes and / or approaches to achieving objectives.

Is resourceful in solving problems by identifying customer needs and taking appropriate action to meet those needs.

Ability to gather, analyze and interpret information to propose recommendations

What is a Must Have?

Five years of relevant business, compliance, and / or regulatory experience.
