Vintage and Niagara's Finest Hotels are currently seeking a Director of Marketing to join our growing team!

What you'll be doing :
- Planning and developing marketing and brand strategies for the company’s hotels, spas and restaurants.
- Create and execute an annual marketing plan.
- Create and manage marketing budget.
- Develop brand strategies.
- Conduct research on competitors and the market.
- Create social media content, post on social media and oversee the social media ambassadors.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital, print, radio, television (linear and streaming), and social media platforms.
- Ability to write press releases, radio scripts, and develop video & television storyboards.
- Ability to oversee photo shoots and video / television shoots.
- Update website as required.
- Identify and create new business opportunities.
- Adjust marketing plans based on customer trends and preferences.
- Coordinate with operations and sales departments to achieve the company’s objectives and produce effective strategies.
- Work with SEO partner to ensure goals and objectives are being met.
- Renew or revise existing contracts and memberships with various media and associations.
- Contact, coordinate and participate in media visits and interviews (print and televised).
- Coordinate media events and familiarization tours with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
- Act as Promotional Director for events.
- Develop, create and liaise with our external partners in the participation of partnerships and media relations.
- Maintain partnerships and goodwill gestures with external companies and associations; e.g., NOTL Chamber of Commerce, Newcomers Group, Shaw Festival, Niagara Falls Tourism and The Tourism Partnership of Niagara and Destination Ontario.
- Create Vintage Hotels & Niagara’s Finest Hotels print material.
- Create marketing presentations and support documents.
- Research government business development / marketing partnership funding opportunities; i.e., government programs.
What you'll bring to the team :
- Proven experience as a hands-on marketing director.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Social media skills a must.
- Experience is a must in the areas of radio, television, video, out of home and digital.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics.
