Responsibilities
Position Summary :
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse The Certified Nursing Assistant for Med / Surg provides basic nursing care. Care is provided in a manner that promotes safety comfort and a healing environment.
The CNA monitors and communicates accurate and complete observations regarding the patient's condition.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local 1107 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum :
6 months clinical experience in an acute facility.
Graduate from a fully accredited CNA Program.
Required to be flexible in scheduling.
CT NA Certified Nursing Assistant license from Nevada State Nursing Board.
CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Preferred :
1 (one) year clinical experience as a CNA.
Pay Range
$28.89 - $28.89 / hour
