The Position
As a Landscape Designer / Architect, you’ll drive planning and developing external spaces for clients and oversee the installation process, ensuring client satisfaction.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Collaborate with clients, contractors and surveyors on designs and site plans
- Prepare site plans and graphic representations of plans
- Ensure client satisfaction by visiting sites and communicating with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors
- Network with local builders, contractors, other architects, property managers and others to identify potential projects and opportunities
Qualifications and Candidate Background
The ideal candidate will have :
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and / or relevant training or certifications as a Landscape Designer / Architect
- A clear understanding of different aspects of landscaping, turf maintenance, plant materials, and sitework
- Computer skills; CAD experience a plus!
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients and other key stakeholders
Location
This position is in Highlands, NC, and must be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance will be provided to qualified talent.
