As a Director, Program Operations Lead in Capital One’s Bank Tech Organization, you’ll lead the Bank Modernization operating structure, providing ruthless process rigor, optimizing processes, ensuring we are well managed and drive accelerated talent identification and onboarding.
This operational excellence in program and project management is the key to success in this transformation program driving innovation, optimizing operational efficiencies and fueling the bank's future.
Obsessing over the program experience and operating efficiencies should be in your DNA, along with a visionary operations servicing mindset, and exceptional well managed judgment.
You will provide critical leverage in overseeing key processes ensuring delivery, and effective communication across stakeholders.
You will chart the course for scaling these processes and functions and need to possess a strong intellect, and have a proven track record of influencing with excellent verbal and written communication skills working with a senior management team.
General Responsibilities
Drive transformational process rigor in the program operations
Lead and deliver the most critical operating processes to scale and establish operational efficiency
Cast vision for operations excellence and build an inventory of the highest leverage process enhancements or automations that accelerate scale of the program operations
Build and lead a team of high performing associates to deliver highly effective processes and controls
Ensure processes are operating at the pace of the program to ensure effective and timely decisioning, impediment mitigation and stakeholder communications.
Lead the risk and audit activities for the program, ensuring the program is well managed at all times
Partnering cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive program operating outcomes
Oversee and manage scaling of talent and onboarding activities to position the program for success
Apply strong communication skills to influence program operating efficiencies and effectiveness of
Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track process performance, and influence decision making
Perform regular analysis of results and subsequent drivers to identify and implement continuous improvement efforts
The candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of :

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 7 years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience
At least 5 years of People Management experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Masters in Business Administration
10+ years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience
3+ years of Operations experience
7+ years of People Management experience
2+ years of Learning & Development experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site) : $202,400 - $231,000 for Director, Project Management
