Dog Care Manager

The Dog Stop® is looking for an enthusiastic Dog Care Manager to join their team. Knowledge of the dog care industry is a plus but not required provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of dog behavior and our range of services.

Our Dog Care Managers oversee the back of house operations and facilitate a safe and fun environment for all out canine companions!

Requirements for a Dog Care Manager

Responsibilities of a Dog Care Manager will include but are not limited to :

• Supervising and directing safe and positive play
• Maintaining a clean and healthy environment for guests
• Overseeing staff and canine interactions
• Managing back of house operations
• Implementing and training on corporate policies
• Identifying dog play styles and behaviors and proactively responding
• Ensuring guests and their owners feel comfortable and are receiving the level of service they’ve come to expect from The Dog Stop
• Contributing to a positive team environment

The owners of The Dog Stop® spent several years researching the pet care industry, surveying the needs of local pet owners, and planning an all-inclusive pet care facility after they saw a lack of transparency in the industry.
