We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client's team.
Position Overview :
As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our client's warehouse, manage a team of warehouse staff, and ensure the efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of improving warehouse processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff, including setting performance goals and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security standards in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor and track warehouse KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to implement best practices in warehouse management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse management software and inventory management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety and security standards in a warehouse setting
- Experience in implementing process improvements and cost-saving measures
