About The Position
A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
Poughkeepsie, New York, offers a variety of enjoyable activities. You can explore the scenic Walkway Over the Hudson, visit the historic Locust Grove Estate for a glimpse into the past, or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Vassar College campus.
This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts, and there are no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties required.
The cases are mostly bread-and-butter surgeries, along with radiology, robotic, and GI cases. However, no heart surgeries, OB, or pediatric cases are handled unless you have experience.
The supervision ratio is generally 1 : 3, though it may range from 1 : 2 to 1 : 4. The facility has 25 operating rooms, uses CERNER for charting, and the credentialing process takes approximately 90 days.
