RN, Assistant Manager - Operating Room

Job Summary

Hours : Saturday 0630-1900, Sunday 0630-1900, plus two 8-hour weekdays

Administrative call required

Good communication skills, knowledge of Perioperative flow

• Three (3) or more years of experience in clinical area of practice (Operating Room).
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Good communication skills and knowledge of Perioperative flow

Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. MHHS hires RNs based on years of experience groupings (i.e. newly licensed RN [working under the supervision of RN clinical preceptor], less than 1 year, 1-3 years, 3 to 10 and 10+).

Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education :   Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Nursing. If Bachelor’s is not in Nursing, a Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
