Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM

Weekends : 1 in 3

Holidays : Rotating

Position Summary :

A facility in Albany, NY is seeking a Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple surgical specialties and be capable of providing high-quality support in the operating room.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical instruments

Assist surgeons and OR staff during procedures across cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular specialties

Set up surgical equipment and verify functionality

Participate in patient safety and infection control practices

Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of surgical supplies

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience

NBSTSA CST certification required at time of submission

BLS certification required

Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular procedures

Ability to work 1 in 3 weekends and rotating holidays

Travel experience preferred
