Sophisticated and busy north suburban boutique business, tax, real estate and estate planning firm is seeking a highly motivated business attorney capable of independent work with a minimum of 3 years of focused business, corporate and transactional experience.
Candidates should have experience in drafting complex operating agreements, partnership agreements, contract negotiation and drafting, entity formation documents, capital raises, and mergers and acquisitions.
Excellent drafting skills and independent thinking are required. Our business attorneys work closely with our tax attorneys on complex tax structuring and transactions, mergers and acquisitions, as well as structuring joint ventures and business succession planning.
Our firm provides a comprehensive array of services to serve the needs of business owners and their families, including sophisticated tax consulting and advisory services, an entire suite of business, transactional, real estate, estate planning, and commercial litigation services.
Our firm also conducts the premier national seminars on partnership and flow-through entity taxation, which generate substantial exposure and legal work across all our practice areas.
We offer partner support and training to enhance our attorneys’ skill sets. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to work on sophisticated transactional, corporate, tax and business matters in our collegial and collaborative work environment.
No portable business is required, but is considered a plus. Illinois law license in good standing is required. This is a partnership track position.
