At HoustonMethodist the Patient Observation Tech position is responsible fordemonstrating basic knowledge and skills necessary to communicateappropriately and provide continuous electronic observation andsurveillance of assigned agespecific diverse patient populationassisting in the delivery of patient care and services.
Thisposition verbally redirects the patient from engaging in atriskbehaviors and summoning nursing staff when patient requiresassistance and reports observations and patient problems to thelicensed nurse.

- Maintains visualobservation of assigned patients at all times and verballyredirects patients over digital 2way audiodevice.
- Delivers AvaSysMobile Carts to patient rooms sets up the unit and assists withtesting of the units position camera and audiospeaker.
