Position Summary : Seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our 2nd shift operation with experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.

Plans and assigns work per production schedule. Implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Role Qualifications :

• Previous Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge running high speed, thermoforming equipment desired
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set-up production jobs and monitor until completion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent mathematical skills with great attention to detail.
• Proficient in computers including Microsoft Office, barcoding, and ERP systems.

Position Responsibilities :

• Must be able to arrange organization and flow of production jobs until completion.
• Works with other Supervisors in understanding and running new jobs, assigns appropriate personnel and provides necessary support for efficiency.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of all manufactured products.
• Provides ongoing guidance and direction to all employees.
• Monitors and enforces safe practices across all functions and tasks.
• Identifies employee performance issues and generates corrective actions.
• Coordinates communication on all lines during shift change with other Shift Supervisor.
• Orchestrates training and employee development amongst production job functions.
• Supports and enforces all company policies regarding procedures and safety compliance.
• Employee may be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Essential skills and experience :

• Bi-lingual English / Spanish is required
• A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations.
• Strong organization and attention to detail skills
• Computer Proficient
• Good Mathematical skills
