Day-to-Day
This one-year contract is supporting the Manufacturing team for a large medical device company. The position in open due to a new project launch that needs current members of the team to support, so they need a quality engineer to come and support BAU.
The team helps with the development and quality of stapling products. This person will monitor the process to make sure that the product is properly being manufactured.
They will conduct investigations when the product is defected to identify where the problem came from. 50% of their day is on the manufacturing floor.
Here they will be doing validation of new equipment, investigating what is going on with equipment, and nonconformance investigations.
The other 50% of their day will be going through emails, meetings, writing validation documentation, closing NCRs. This person will work cross functionally with the manufacturing and operations team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Minitab and process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ). They will have an engineering degree with experience supporting manufacturing operations.
This person will have strong communication skills and come from a highly regulated industry.
