Senior Tax Manager, Hybrid - 8027

Our client, a global manufacturing company located in the New Brunswick area, is looking for a Corporate Senior Tax Manager.
This role will oversee a small team and manage the Federal and State Income Tax Compliance and Provision process. This position is hybrid with flexibility of being in the office.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of the federal (consolidated) income tax return, and state and local income tax returns, extensions and estimated payments, including the gathering of financial information and workpapers and the identification and calculation of book / tax differences.
This includes electronically filing the returns.
- Manage the preparation of tax provisions for the company and its entities, including managing the quarterly tax provision timeline.
- Oversee the preparation of sales and use, and property tax compliance.
- Perform tax research on an as-needed basis with respect to federal and state income tax, payroll tax, and property tax.
- Actively participate in tax planning projects.
- Manage both federal and state tax audits, including responding to IDRs and other tax requests / notices.
- Maintain tax calendar.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree, Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Master's in taxation preferred
- Minimum of 8 years in corporate and / or public accounting firm tax department
- Experienced with Onesource and other tax software and research tools
- Ideally be able to work in an office 1-2 times per week
