Duration : 13-week nursing contract

Shift : 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week (on-call required as needed)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2210 - $2370

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current CPR / BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

ACLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to changes in patient condition

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Assess surgical patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized perioperative care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team

Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures

Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition during surgery

Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with hospital and nursing standards

Participate in continuing education and uphold core patient care measures

Contribute to a positive and healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management

Fulfill on-call responsibilities as required for the Operating Room
