Senior / Staff / Principal ML Scientists and Engineers
LLM / Foundation Models for Biotech ($100M Series A)
San Francisco Bay Area, USA / remote
$250,000 - $300,000 salary + equity
This Biotech is looking to build the largest, most accurate family of Foundational Models / LMMs across multiple modalities in drug discovery, genomics and synthetic biology!
Truly a rocketship opportunity to be an early member in a new division, supported by an established global set up. Seeking interdisciplinary talent within ML / Engineering and Comp Chem / Bio.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop and train novel LLM models for a multimodal approach to biodiscovery
- Train and improve models & pipelines to ensure high-performance data transformation
- Process research papers and fine-tune LLMs geared towards biological breakthroughs
- Proactively impact the roadmap & talent onboarding for their development
Requirements :
- MS or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Comp Sci, or related field
- 5+ years hands-on development in LLM, Diffusion, GNN models for drug discovery / RNA, DNA / synthetic biology
- Experience in computational packages applied to chem / bio
- Proficiency in leveraging high parameter, high compute GPU clusters
