Dialysis Travel RN

• tAssesses patient response to dialysis therapy.
• tMakes appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated / directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician.
• tAssessment of patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings.
• tAdministers medications as ordered to assigned patients.
• tAssesses educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.
• tFlexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• tAvailability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• tWillingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• tAbility to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• tAlso referred to as : Renal care nurse

Job Requirements

• t1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse
• tGraduate from an accredited nursing school
• tCurrent state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• tBLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings)
• tACLS certification required (Acute setting only)
