Staff Development Coordinator - SDC - Registered Nurse - RN
We're seeking a Staff Development Coordinator - SDC - RN - Registered Nurse .
Flexible schedule : 32 - 40 hours / week
Staff Development Coordinator - RN - Registered Nurse Qualifications :
- Current MA RN - Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum of 3 years in Long-Term Care.
- One year of supervisory nursing in Long-Term Care experience required.
- Effective time management skills.
- Skill in supporting program development, human resources, budget, strategic planning, and training.
- Effective group verbal communication and presentation skills.
Staff Development Coordinator - RN - Registered Nurse Job Summary :
- Coordinate with Department Director and other department directors regarding educational needs for all residents and staff.
- Assist Department Director in preparation and implementation of nursing and other lesson plans and associated trainings.
- Assist in planning and scheduling a monthly in-service calendar for mandatory in-services.
- Assist in training on safety programs including fire safety, natural disaster, potential dangers within the building.
- Maintain records of all education conducted.
