Customer Care Representative Summary :

Interfaces with homebuyer and trade partners to perform final orientations and diagnose, schedule and complete warranty service work.

You will be responsible for evaluating requests, scheduling trades to complete work, expedite repairs and ensure homeowner satisfaction.

Other Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Conduct homeowner walk-throughs (acquainting homeowner appliances, heating / cooling system, maintenance of home, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Construction Department staff & contractors in the completion of walk-through repairs within 5 days
  • Schedule & supervise subcontractor repairs in homes after delivery to homeowner
  • Schedule homeowner inspections, assess routine warranty claims, & follow all service requests to completion within 7 days
  • Provide accurate & timely progress / scopes of work information to Customer Care Manager
  • Maintain positive homeowner relations (provide homeowner w / knowledgeable, timely, & professional service)
  • Evaluate subcontractor / product performance & provide ongoing quality of workmanship & materials information to Manager
  • Keep accurate service request logs & documentation of all work performed
  • Participate and attend department meetings
  • Participate in emergency on call rotation service schedule

Qualifications :

  • Must have a high school diploma / GED (Associates degree or similar preferred)
  • Must have 3+ years of residential customer care or construction field experience
  • Must have Valid driver’s license & insurance coverage w / good driving record
  • Must be available to work weekends & holidays as needed
  • Must have working knowledge of new technology such as iPads
  • Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be able to work in outside in all weather conditions in various construction environments (may require climbing, standing, bending / stooping, & possibly lifting / carrying over 50 lbs.)
