About The Position
Job Title : Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Job Specialty : Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Job Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Overnight - 7 on / 7 off, Thursday-Wednesday, 8 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM (until 8 : 00 AM on weekend mornings) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Valid certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : - Willingness to work overnight shifts on a 7 on / 7 off schedule.
Job Description : Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in various medical laboratory sections.- Accurately document and report test results in timely manner.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures.- Adhere to quality control protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability of test outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team to support patient diagnosis and treatment.- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards within the laboratory environment.- Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and technology.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training as required.
