The Productions Operator assists co-workers in starting line production. They have the responsibility to sustain continuous mill operation.
The Production Operator attending the bagger area has responsibility for controlling the line operation from the dicer through packaging and preparing for storage of finished product.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two years’ experience in manufacturing preferred. Having compound experience, a plus.
Ability to follow instructions with aptitude in working with mathematical numbers.
Ability to work independently and make decisions on all in-process quality inspections of product
Must be detailed oriented and organized
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
Ability to understand mechanics of machinery and use of scales
Excellent critical thinking skills
Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the plant.
Must be able to promote and encourage teamwork.
