Essential Functions
- Develops / Maintains employee personnel files.
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
- Monitors employee’s Credentials in the system and ensure valid credentials in both HR file and the system
- Facilitates or provides training (including orientation / annual training) to the workforce.
- Conducts new-hire orientation and onboarding process / Conduct bi-weekly onboarding of newly hired employees and enter new hire paperwork in HRIS.
- Coordinates / communicates benefits package during orientation - complete enrollment form or Wavier by first week of orientation
- Completed Orientation checklist and new hire checklist complete by first week of orientation
- Monitors newly hired employees’ Initial Core Trainings complete first week of orientation
- Processes termination Letter to all W2 employees and 1099 contractors including deactivated access card and Relias account and ID badge.
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures;
prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database monthly
- Keep employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in the HRIS system in a timely fashion
- Keep employee credentials up to date in both HR file and HRIS (system)
- Ensure all employees contractors emergency contact information in both HR files and system.
- Participates in supervision meetings and attends other meetings
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
- Two to four years of experience in human resource generalist role.
