Job Summary Geisinger is currently seeking an exceptional Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) trained physician to join our growing team at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) located in Danville, Pa!

Job Duties

Candidates must be Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained. Â

Position Details

GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER : (GMC), located Danville, Pa., the largest tertiary / quaternary care teaching hospital in the region, is licensed for 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Children's Hospital.

 GMC, a Magnet Hospital, maintains the region's only Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center with additional qualifications in pediatrics.

GMC offers an array of highly specialized medical and surgical services, including neurosciences, cardiovascular services, transplantation, women's health (in the Women's Pavilion), oncology and orthopaedics.

 The Hospital for Advanced Medicine serves as an integrated center for the most critical patients. Outpatient services are available on and off campus.

GEISINGER JANET WEIS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL : Located in Danville, Pa., Geisinger Janet Weis Children's Hospital partners with pediatricians to provide personalized specialty care to children when they need it †from birth through young adulthood.

Our specialty-trained pediatric doctors and nurses provide expertise in more than  , treating common to the most complex pediatric health conditions.

From our   (level IV NICU),   (PICU) and dedicated   to our inpatient unit and outpatient clinics throughout central and northeast Pennsylvania, our pediatric care team is dedicated to making exceptional pediatric care available to every child in every community we serve.Â
