Requirements :

- 3 years experience in a director role of a preschool is desired.
- The center director and center co-director(s) shall be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following qualifications :
- A college or university degree in early childhood education, child development, child psychology or a related field that includes at least 18 credit hours in child development and / or early childhood education;
- A bachelor’s degree from a college or university in any subject area and six months experience working with children in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility;
- An associate’s degree from a college or university in early childhood education, child development and / or child psychology or a related field that includes at least 18 credit hours in child development and / or early childhood education with six months work experience in a licensed approved or registered child care facility;
- A diploma in child development / early childhood education from an institution of higher learning or a child development associate (CDA) credential, and one year work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility;
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate with at least one year of work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility.
That year shall have included supervision of child care staff. A director / co-director who is prevented from obtaining a high school diploma or GED because of a disability, and who otherwise is qualified to perform the essential functions of the position, must have at least a high school Certificate of Completion with at least one year of work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility.

- Strong leadership and administrative skills.
- Love for children and passion for teaching.
- No criminal record or child-related offences.
- Oversee the daily operation of the preschool.
- Manage staff in collaboration with co-director.
- Create policies which conform to state requirements and implement the faith-based curriculum taught by the preschool.
- Ensure that the property is well-maintained.
- Manage tuition payments and payroll for financial secretary.
- Maintain the school website and social media.
- Schedule training of CPR and First Aid for staff.
- Identify and schedule fundraising events.
- Schedule ongoing training of teachers.
- Communicate effectively with parents.

Pay : $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
