What You''ll Do : Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologiesBuild and Manage data pipelines with complex transformations.

Build a machine learning based data quality solution for Anomaly detection Work with a team of developers with deep experience in machine learning, data engineering, distributed microservices, and full stack systemsUtilize programming languages like Scala, Python and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud based data warehousing services such as Snowflake, and a variety of AWS tools and services Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering communityCollaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowermentCapital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor''s DegreeAt least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply) Preferred Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following : Java, Python, or Scala.

4+ years experience with distributed data computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark)1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service3+ years of experience in open source frameworks3+ years of experience with Unix or Linux including basic commands and shell scripting2+ years of experience in Agile practices At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
