The Repair and Diagnostic Logistics Analyst will be responsible for developing comprehensive logistics documentation to support system repair and maintenance, including the Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) and Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) documentation. This role ensures that all components, tools, and diagnostic equipment necessary for system maintenance are identified , cataloged, and compliant with ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 standards. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams, Shield AI, and suppliers to collect data, create actionable documentation, and support system sustainment objectives .
Responsibilities
Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) :
- Develop and maintain an RPSTL that catalogs all components and special tools required for system repair and maintenance.
- Ensure all items are documented with specifications, sourcing information, and maintenance requirements.
- Collaborate with Shield AI to gather data on repair parts and tools used for modules and subcomponents, integrating it into the RPSTL.
- Ensure compliance with ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 standards for documentation and consistency.
Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) :
Document all TMDE required for system maintenance, including specifications, calibration procedures, and sourcing information.Work with Shield AI to identify existing TMDE and any additional equipment needed for system sustainment.Ensure TMDE documentation adheres to ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 standards.Collaboration and Data Collection :
Work with Shield AI and suppliers to gather data on repair parts, tools, and diagnostic equipment, including information on failure modes, maintenance, and calibration procedures.Identify gaps in available data and work with stakeholders to address them.Coordinate with program managers and other team members to ensure alignment between deliverables and logistics objectives .Compliance and Quality Assurance :
Ensure all documentation complies with government and industry standards, including ANSI GEIA-STD-0007.Review and validate RPSTL and TMDE documentation for accuracy, clarity, and usability.Risk Management and Reporting :
Identify potential risks related to repair parts and diagnostic equipment availability and propose mitigation strategies.Provide regular updates to program managers and stakeholders on the status of RPSTL and TMDE deliverables.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in logistics planning, repair parts cataloging, or technical documentation development, preferably in defense or government programs.Strong knowledge of ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 and related standards for logistics documentation.Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and calibration procedures.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Adobe Acrobat).Experience working with suppliers and external stakeholders to collect and validate data is a plus.Work Environment and Conditions
This is a hybrid position, with occasional travel required to Shield AI facilities or other sites for collaboration and data collection. The role involves managing multiple deliverables and ensuring compliance with government standards in a dynamic work environment.
