Job Overview : ProCare Therapy is seeking a committed Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a full-time learning support role in Landsdowne, PA, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
This position is ideal for an educator passionate about working with K-8 students, providing tailored learning support to meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to K-8 students in a learning support setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure students' academic success.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other staff to create an inclusive educational environment.
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional methods to better meet their needs.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications :
- Must hold a valid Pennsylvania certification in Special Education.
- Experience working in a learning support role with K-8 students is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create and implement effective IEPs.
