Shifts : Mon 7 : 30 to 4 : 00 / T, W, Th 7 : 30 to 3 : 30 / Fri 7 : 15 to 5 : 00
$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus for external candidates.
Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced CMA to join our team at Huxley, with a primary focus in the lab.
- Perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis. Enter lab result values into patient electronic record.
- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures.
- Medication and / or vaccine administration.
- Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling.
- Test result management and tracking as determined by provider.
- Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal
Qualifications
- Current Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- High school diploma.
- BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
- Strong point of care lab work experience, phlebotomy skills.
