About the Role
We are seeking an Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, manufacturing and testing of electroadhesive clutches in motion systems.
This individual will push forward the TRL and MRL of our products, lead the electromechanical design of cutting-edge exotendons for military contracts, and create prototype demonstration systems targeted to unique customer segments.
The central responsibilities of this individual will include distilling customer feedback and market trends into design requirements, devising and implementing creative designs that leverage electroadhesive technology, and creating highly polished products to deliver to customers.
What we require :
- Strong command of engineering principles, design, and GD&T
- Strong project management and technical management experience
- Strong CAD and FEA skills with Solidworks or a similar platform
- Experience in fabrication, materials, and design for manufacturing
- B.S. or M.S. and 5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a similar design field
