“ROAD WARRIORS” NEEDED – Traveling Field Service Diesel Mechanics

Pay : $40+ / hour AND UP… (negotiable) + daily per diem + benefits

Locations : Seeking techs Based near Dallas–Fort Worth, TX or Murfreesboro / Nashville, TN (but you don’t need to live where this ad is posted)

We’re hiring Field Service Mechanics to travel city to city, fixing fleet trucks and heavy equipment (both gas & diesel) across the U.S.. You’ll spend 4–5 weeks on the road with your crew, then get time off at home before heading out again — all while getting paid to see the country .

All travel, hotels, rental cars, and airfare are paid for, plus you’ll receive a daily per diem for food and expenses. When the workday ends, your time is yours — explore new cities, see the sights, or catch a game — this is a career and adventure in one!

What You’ll Do :

Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered trucks and heavy equipment.

Perform tune-ups, engine work, hydraulic and brake repairs, electrical diagnostics, and PMs.

Service equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, blowers, grinders, and pickup trucks.

Complete maintenance logs, safety checks, and occasional training of junior techs. Maintain clean and safe job sites.

What You’ll Need :

3+ years’ experience working on diesel / gas trucks or heavy equipment.

Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills; ASE certification a plus .

Must have your own tools and valid driver’s license (clean record). Must be able to pass security clearance to work at airports.

Able to travel for extended periods; CDL helpful but not required.

Must pass background check, drug screen, and meet airport / military badging requirements.
