Field Service Mechanic - Miami - Palm Beach Area

We're Hiring a Field Service Mechanics due to company growth! Bring your excellent mechanical aptitude to service and repair forklifts, marina lifts and other heavy equipment for our customers on the road and at their place of business.

Qualifications and Expectations :

• Previous experience working with diesel, electric and propane-powered forklifts
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and their engines
• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery and systems
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve complex problems
• Knowledge and ability to diagnose hydraulic circuits and fuel and cooling systems
• Understanding of attachments such as masts, booms, etc.
• Maintain service truck supplies and tools
• Work / manage workloads independently and display daily communication with Service Manager
• Consistent and reliable - strong attention to detail
• Skilled in safe, effective and appropriate equipment use
• Ability to wear and used appropriate safety gear
• Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Service truck provided.
• Ability to travel up to 6 hour radius from home. Reimbursement for overnight stays if necessary. Travel radius will be less as we continue to grow and hire.
• 2 years of heavy equipment operation preferred
• 2 years of forklift repair or heavy equipment repair experience preferred

Benefits :

Pay based on experience : $30-45 / per hour - full time work week

Company will supply service truck and specialty tools; tech must supply personal hand tools
