General Technician

Frankfort, IL

6 : 45am to 7 : 00pm (rotated schedule)

Introduction statement :

Our client in Frankfort, IL is seeking self-motivated individuals with job longevity and great attention to detail. This automotive company serves all the major automotive OEMS and their suppliers with plastic fasteners.

Responsibilities :

• Perform quality inspections and package products from a group of injection molding machines during 12-hour shifts.
• Operate auxiliary equipment, including packaging and assembly machinery.
• Inspect products as per work instructions, reporting and recording findings accurately.
• Label and package products in compliance with work instructions and customer requirements.
• Participate in housekeeping and 5S activities, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
• Climb ladders and perform other tasks as required to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with team members and report to the Manufacturing Cell Leader / Supervisor.

Requirements :

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. for 50% of the shift.
• Good housekeeping skills, adhering to 5S principles.
• Ability to read and understand written procedures and instructions.
• A solid work record with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
