Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Salary : $2,442.00 / week

Medical specialty : Surgical Specialty

Standard shift : Nights

Weekly schedule : 3x12

Nurse patient ratio : 5 or 5 : 1 for surgical patients and 3 : 1 for SD area.

Description :

This is a med / surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates.

Must have acute care surgical floor experience.

ENT and / or Transplant Experience Preferred

Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience as this floor has inpatients pre or post-surgical services-mostly surgical experience is needed.

Some of these patients will be Step down care as well.

4E candidates will care for patients post operatively and need to have experiences taking care of patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT.

4W is our surgical transplant area and also has Step down patients and post op patients.

These patients are new transplant patients or returning transplant patients.

They need close monitoring for reaction and rejection as well as infection.

Required Skills & Experience :

1 year of experience.

Required Education :

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education :

Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Minimum Degree Required :

Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)

Preferred Education :

Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure :

Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).

Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
