What you will get to do :

Develops and executes product strategy, messaging, and launch of products and solutions that support the company's overall strategy and goals.

Analyzes market opportunity, anticipates industry direction, evaluates the feasibility and financial justification for new products and / or new releases of existing products, and identifies requirements for future and current products in the context of the company's strengths and capabilities, technologies, quality, costs, customer interactions, and marketplace demands.

Defines target prospects and assists sales in lead generation.

Oversees the product life cycle from conception through retirement. Works closely with functional teams, including technical architecture and development teams, to ensure that appropriate processes are being adhered to in order to meet financial, timing, and customer expectations.

Possesses knowledge of overall product development processes and marketing strategy and has analysis / project management mindsets to thrive in a demanding environment.

Intermediate professional working on projects of a moderate scope or on varied tasks that require resourcefulness, self-initiative, and significant independent judgement.

Demonstrates a developing functional knowledge to evaluate the implications of issues and make recommendations for solutions.

Guides less experienced team members.

May recommend new procedures.

Minimally requires a Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or high school degree and 4 years of related experience.

Has a strong understanding of customers' needs, the competitive environment-including our position in relation to competitors-, and the market forces required to launch a successful product solution.

The Technical Product Manager works closely with the product and technical teams as a bridge between product management and other parts of the organization and is assigned to areas demanding a more rigorous understanding of technical initiatives.

TPMs may own certain aspects of the product suite, and they may be leveraged on a more ad hoc basis as a subject matter expert able to consult on the more technical aspects of different initiatives.

  • Ensuring requirements are fully understood and that plans match expectations thru a deeper understanding of architecture, functionality, and technical dependencies
  • Engaging with stakeholders to refine product requirements, prioritize features, define success criteria, and help shape the roadmap
  • Identifying emerging trends, product capabilities and other opportunities to measure their potential value (or threat) to the portfolio
  • Understanding, researching, and following technical trends, and tracking competitors to conduct capability analysis regularly
  • Providing support for internal and customer demo, presentation and training / documentation activity
  • Serving as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the internal and external technical / developer community
