Network Automation Engineer
We are seeking a highly-skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our network engineering group, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the network infrastructure that powers our global trading systems.
This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing our network automation and monitoring systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to proactively enhance our network infrastructure.
- Manage existing tools for network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Enhance access to network telemetry data across the enterprise for improved visibility and analysis.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent implementation across the entire network.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, tools, and procedures.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering and automation in a large-scale environment.
- Strong experience in developing solutions using frameworks such as Ansible, Python, Bash, TICK, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including BGP, PIM-SM, LAN, multicast, and more.
- Proficient in network monitoring tools like InfluxDB, Grafana, Kubernetes, Telegraf, and Kapacitor.
- Proven experience in designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions for global teams.
- A self-motivated team player with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
