About The Position
Job Title : Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty : Echo Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 00 - 16 : 30) or 3x12-Hour (06 : 00 - 18 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience : 2 years required;
First-timers not accepted License : South Carolina license preferred; pending applications considered Certifications : BLS, ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) registered Must-Have : Willingness to train new hires, Radiation badge, Weekend and on-call rotation Job Description : Perform echocardiograms with a daily caseload of 8-12 patients.
Participate in on-call rotation from noon Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday.- Engage in weekend rotations with shifts from 8 a.m.
to noon Saturday and Sunday.- Work three 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday with additional weekend hours when on rotation.- No floating between service lines or to sister facilities.
- Train new hires as needed.- Comply with all regulations and maintain required certifications and licenses.- Wear Navy or Seal Blue scrubs in accordance with facility dress code.
- Use the preferred Epic charting system for documentation.- Ensure compliance with facility requirements for flu vaccination, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions.
- Be prepared for emergency response duties during hurricane season (June through November).
