Our baristas and bakers act as ambassadors forour food platform, preparing our freshly baked pastriesand food offerings using premium ingredients.

Princi baristas andbakers will use their knowledge and expertise of our exclusiveproducts to inspire and delight customers by showcasing our sweetand savory food and beverage pairings.

This job contributes to Starbuckssuccess of the Roastery & Reserve Store by providing anexceptional experience to all customers as ambassadors of coffeeleadership and stewards of quality.

Through a commitment tooperational excellence, they work together as a team to createthe Roastery & ReserveExperience for their customers and oneanother.

Coffee Expert & BrandAmbassador :

Provideunique coffee forward experience for everycustomer

Serve as coffee expert providingexceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items as well asinformation regarding preparation methods (roasting process,flavor, etc.)

Demonstrate impeccablecomposure and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations. Maintainsa calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusualevents.

Provides quality beverages, wholebean, and food products consistently for all customers by adheringto all recipe and presentationstandards

BasicQualifications :

• Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push / pull,climb stairs, and stand without limitation and for long periods oftime
• Ability to carry 35lb on a consistentbasis
• Experience in the service orentertainment industry (i.e. restaurant, bar, theater, orhospitality)
• Reading, writing, and oralproficiency in the English language
• Available to work flexible hours, which could includeearly mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

PreferredQualifications

• 1-2years of specialty retail sales experience
• Ability to carry and balance a tray
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitaskand prioritize effectively
• Ability to learnquickly
• Ability to read customer cues andcurate an immersive experience based on customer needs
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in multiple positions within differentstore departments (Zones), performing many different tasks withinthe departments during each shift
