- Orientation / Education Hours : Orientation / education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 week of your assignment. Expect 25+ hours.
- A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced PCU RN for a travel contract.
- The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.

Unit : PCU 6th Floor
of beds : 32
- Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 3-4; occasional
- EMR : EPIC
- Charge Nurse : Yes, free charge
- Nurse Aides : Yes; CNA ratio 1 : 8-12
- Tele Monitors : Yes
- Do nurses read strips? Yes and have remote tele monitor techs
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : CVA / TIA, STEMI / NSTEMI, chest pain rule out MI, ACS, CHF, Renal failure - acute and chronic, Respiratory Failure / distress, DKA / HHNK, PE / DVT, afib, pre / post cardiac angiogram, stents, pre / post pacemaker, pre / post cardiac ablation, pre-CABG, CIWA
- Floor specific orientation : Yes - 12hrs policy / procedure; 12hrs on unit with preceptor; EPIC as needed
- Experience with CAPD (Peritoneal Dialysis) is a plus, but not required.
- This is a very busy unit with very high patient turnover. We have a really great cohesive team and we welcome our travelers as an integral part of it.

- Region III : Primary to St. Michael Medical Center but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three.
- Float Rate removed for privacy
- Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in.
