Job Overview

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in the community and around the community grounds as assigned. Responsible for assisting with maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the residents, guests, and team members.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Duties :

• Responsible for completing all maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform general maintenance duties such as : fixing wall coverings, fixing floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, performing basic plumbing work, performing minor electrical repairs, repairing appliances, assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance on all Sunrise vehicles as assigned.
• Maintain all tools and repair parts.
• Participate in all fire drills and in the community's disaster preparedness program.

Selected candidates will be offered competitive compensation based on geographic location of community / office, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications / licenses (where applicable).
