Cetechs, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, just won a large healthcare contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs where we will be placing CRNA's at Facilities across the United States This is a 5- year contract so even if you aren’t available now, we most likely have something available when you are ready.
Also, this can either be a long-term contract if you’re looking for stability, or it can be as short as a few months if you’re looking for flexibility.
You can be licensed in ANY state.
We have an immediate need for CRNA's to work at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Houston, TX Philadelphia, PA and Des Moines, IA and anticipate having additional openings throughout the country.

Duties
Duties and responsibilities of the Nurse Anesthetist include, but are not limited to the following :
Performs pre-anesthesia evaluations, prepares anesthesia plan, delivers all forms of anesthesia, and follows up on all general anesthesia cases.
Provides emergency airway and resuscitation management throughout the facility.
Assists with quality assurance activities facility-wide and specific to the Surgery department and conducts routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment.
Translates the principles of professional nurse anesthesia practice into appropriate patient care.
Performs the pre-anesthetic patient history and physical, including the collection of preoperative consults and data, from which an appropriate anesthetic plan is formulated.
Ensures the anesthetic risks, benefits, and options are described to the patient.
Administers inhalation, regional, intravenous, local and topical anesthetics and continuously evaluates the patient's physical status and responses to anesthesia.
Consistently monitors and accurately records on the anesthesia record.
Performs post-anesthetic management of patients to optimize the recovery from anesthesia and minimize pain.
Provides patient care that is abreast of changing concepts and advancements in the profession, while working effectively in an interdisciplinary environment for improvement of services for patient care.
Appropriately responds to all codes and airway rescues.
Practices with colleagues and peers utilizing a collaborative team concept of anesthesia care while demonstrating effective communication skills and professional behaviors that promote cooperation and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Qualifications
Advanced Practice Nurse (Certified Nurse Anesthetist) Basic Requirements
English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
Education. A master's or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia. (Applicants pending the completion of educational requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until the education requirements are met.
Nursing education must be from a school of professional nursing anesthesia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs (COA) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
Licensure and Certification. The following licensure and certification requirements are considered conditions of employment.
License. All APN (CNAs) must maintain an active, current, full and unrestricted license to practice as a CNA or equivalent, in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia.
Basic Certification. All APN (CNAs) must maintain full and current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or an equivalent Nurse Anesthetist certification recognized by the COA.
