We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Business Applications Analyst / Manager to join our rapidly growing startup biotech company.
This individual will be instrumental in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions.
They will oversee the management and optimization of business applications to support the company's goals.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the design, development, implementation, and management of business applications.
- Evaluate current business processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand specific business needs and develop tailored application solutions.
- Provide comprehensive support and training to staff members on the use of business applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, applications configuration, and related procedural materials.
- Monitor application performance and carry out necessary updates and improvements.
- Manage software upgrades and work closely with software vendors to understand updates and new releases.
- Ensure data integrity and security in all software applications.
- Act as a liaison between non-technical staff and IT professionals, facilitating clear communication between the two groups.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technologies and integrate them into operations where beneficial.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a Business Applications Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of business and IT processes.
- Experience with project management, application design, software development, and system testing best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to translate complex problems and solutions in an understandable way to non-technical staff.
- Familiarity with Enterprise-level systems is a plus.
- Self-starter able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
