We are a specialty pelvic, spine and TMJ clinic, treating adults and kids, providing PT that is personalized, comprehensive and results oriented.
At Purple Mountain PT, our PTs are clinicians at heart who love pelvic health and helping improve patient's lives. We are an out of network, cash based clinic that focuses our attention on clinical excellence and providing our patients a whole person approach to delivering results.
Our PTs appreciate the ability to work one-on-one with patients, to provide patients what they need, without the insurance company dictating the plan of care, and to work within a clinic dedicated to clinical excellence and pelvic health.

We work one-on-one with each patient for up to 55 minutes. This enables us to focus on the patient and design a treatment plan using our doctoral level critical thinking and skills.
We never leave our patient during treatment, which means that we have the time and skills to give patients comprehensive & effective care.

Our PTs join our team because they share our value of serving patients with clinical excellence. Our PTs value 55 minutes to work one-on-one with patients in a PT owned practice that specializes in pelvic health, spine & TMJ treatments and supports clinical skill development.
PTs come to us after working in clinics that are not 100% dedicated to pelvic health and that accept insurance. In those settings they find that they receive limited clinical skills support, are treating too many patients, have short treatment sessions (30-45 minutes is what we are told), do not treat enough pelvic patients for their preference, are using aides / techs to execute PT-related skills, are maximizing productivity and billing and are frustrated by not being able to effectively help people in the ways they imagine to be possible.

You will treat one patient per hour You will be trained to use rehabilitative ultrasound imaging to teach pelvic floor and deep core retraining.
It's a game-changer and you are going to love having this technology! Our PTs have extensive manual therapy techniques and certifications that are used in private treatment rooms.
We use applied biomechanics and movement retraining in our gym setting while continuously teaching patients how to move, adapt, load transfer, train their pelvic floor, control intra-abdominal pressure, balance, stack their posture and alleviate jaw, neck, back, pelvic and nerve pain.
We include pain neuroscience education, neural calming and motivational interviewing into our treatment sessions. Our founder continues to treat patients and has taught PTs, urogynecology fellows, medical residents, at the International Pelvic Pain Society conference and for H&W lab assisting, among other things.
This insight and clinical experience is shared, allowing mentorship and enhancement of your clinical skills and fully supporting the ability to meet patients' needs.

To Be Successful In This Pelvic, Spine, TMJ PT Position at Purple Mountain PT The Ideal Candidate Will : Be licensed or eligible to obtain your Michigan Physical Therapy license.
Be an experienced pelvic health PT with a passion for pelvic health and enthusiasm to serve patients with excellence. Demonstrate orthopedic background or other relevant experience.
Willing to consider PTs who have other backgrounds, such as neurologic or pediatric. Be capable of treating complex patients who have pelvic conditions.
Have strong skills with treating neck, thoracic and spine conditions. Have experience in or willingness to learn to treat TMJ disorders.
Be interested in serving patients in an out of network, cash-based model, free from the constraints of insurance-based limitations.
