We are searching for a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for our Racine location.

The Production Supervisor will collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure smooth operations by supporting our hourly associates, planning and assigning work, participating in Lean Management continuous improvement efforts to improve safety, quality, productive and costs.

As well, the supervisor will develop our associates to expand their skills and capabilities.

What You Will Do :

• Work with associates to achieve established goals for customer on-time delivery, quality, and labor costs.
• Model and encourage a safety first mindset along with achieving departmental and total manufacturing objectives.
• Train associates, coach team members on a continual basis to provide performance feedback.
• Collaborate with HR to elevate overall team capabilities, develop plans for performance challenges, and improve employee engagement.
• Ensure quality standards are met within the department and take appropriate action to improve as required.
• Work with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Provide regular communication to the TTP leaders on day-to-day operations, as well as be a conduit between management and your team members.
• Maintain employee timekeeping, time off requests and absences through ADP WorkforceNow.
• Participate in interviewing all roles on the production team.
• Actively participate in, review and suggest methods of process improvement.

What You Offer :

• High School / G.E.D and at least 5 years of supervisory or lead experience of 5+ team members in an assembly line manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to achieve daily production goals.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, six-sigma or other continuous improvement tools.
• Working knowledge of MRP and / or ERP systems.
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment including standing or prolonged periods of time, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Highly desired! experience with heat exchanger manufacturing.
