Columbia University Medical Center Interventional Endoscopy
ColumbiaUniversity'sDepartmentofMedicineinvitesapplicationsforaclinicalfaculty positionbasedattheMilsteinCampus.Thecandidatewillserveasamemberofthe interventionalendoscopyserviceandperformfundamentalinterventionalprocedures suchasdiagnosticandtherapeuticEUS,ERCP,luminalendoscopy,and enterosocopy.
Inaddition,thecandidatewillbeexpectedtohelpbuildanendobariatric andmetabolicendoscopyservice.Candidatesshouldhavestrongclinicalandteaching qualifications.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care, the supervision and teaching of house staff (residents and fellows) and medical students, active participationinDepartmentalactivities,partnerswithseniorleadershipattheUniversity and NYP.
Will assist in identifying strategic opportunities, and implementation of improvements as needed. Will actively identify and build referral relationships.
The incumbentmayalsobeaskedtoparticipateinendoscopyservicesatsatellitelocations of the NYP-Columbiasystem.
Minimum Degree : MD, MD / PhD degree or equivalent and eligible to practice in the State of New York.
Minimum Qualifications : Board certified / board eligible Gastroenterologist and must be graduates of an advanced endoscopy fellowship.
