About the Role :
Wereseeking a skilled Workers Compensation Attorney based in Californiato join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll be anadvocate for insurance carriers thirdparty administrators andselfinsured employers managing a range of responsibilities fromcase preparation to court appearances.
Youll bring your expertiseto a collaborative team environment supporting clients andcontributing to high standards of service and caseoutcomes.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Advocate on behalf of insurance carriersthirdparty administrators and selfinsuredemployers.
- Prepare client correspondence anddraft pleadings.
- Attend court appearances andmanage the case calendar.
- Conduct depositionsand crossexaminations of doctors.
- Negotiatesettlements and lien claims on workers compensationcases.
- Proactively manage cases and mentorlegal assistants.
- Build relationships withclients coworkers and vendors.
- Attend clientmarketing events and conduct training seminars on case lawupdates.
- Enter case information and time intoPractice Master and billing software.
- Maintaincurrent knowledge of workers compensation case law andstatutes.
What YouBring :
- Location : Licensedto practice law and resides inCalifornia.
- Education : Law degree from an accrediteduniversity.
- Experience : Minimum of 4 years in Workers Compensationlaw.
- Skills : Strong case management client relations and negotiationskills.
Compensationand Benefits :
- Pay : $82000$210000DOE
- Benefits : Unlimited PTO
- EmploymentType : FullTime
- WorkHours : 8am to 5pm Monday throughFriday
