What you will bring :
- Responsible for initial patient intake including checking vital signs, establishing reason for visit, and ensuring patient information / notes are accurate.
- Working with insurance companies obtaining referrals, prior authorizations, etc.
- Assisting with medical treatments and procedures as needed
- Following up with patients on test results, post procedure instructions, etc.
- Ordering and managing office / clinical supplies.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant preferred.
- Experience with EMR preferred.
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
